Admission Events at Linfield
The Office of Admission hosts several campus events each academic year. These are a great way for prospective students and their families to gain an overview of Linfield College and our distinct programs.
Fall Open House - Monday, November 9, 2009
Fall Open House offers high school seniors and their families the opportunity
to learn about Linfield’s liberal arts curriculum, international study
program, student life and athletic programs. Emphasis is also placed on
the Linfield application for admission and financial aid process.

Discovery Days - Friday, January 15 & 22, 2010
January Term (Jan term) is an optional 4-week session for Linfield students. International & domestic off campus courses are offered as well as on-campus study intensive classes. Whether you're still deciding to apply to Linfield or have already been admitted, we invite you to campus for a day of exploration into Linfield's academic programs and international study opportunities.
Competitive Scholarship Day - Sunday, February 21, 2010
The Linfield Competitive Scholarship Day is an invitation-only event offered
to high school seniors. Students will compete for scholarships that range
from $10,000 to $16,000 (over four years). For consideration, students
must apply for admission
to Linfield and submit a Competitive Scholarship Day registration
form by December 1. Interested students are asked to select three academic
exams. Invited students will take one of the three exams they have chosen. In
addition to taking their scholarship exam, students are encouraged to stay overnight
in a residence hall and visit a class.

Spring Visit Days - Monday, April 12 & 19, 2010
Admitted students and their families are encouraged to come to Linfield’s
campus for an in-depth glimpse into the life of a Linfield student. Overnight
stays, class visits and residence hall tours will be available. Additionally,
tips for student success at Linfield will be shared.

Spring Open House - Monday, April 26, 2010
High school juniors and their families are invited to Linfield’s campus for an informal day of information sessions regarding choosing the right college, and the admission and scholarship process, academic departments, student life, study abroad opportunities and athletic programs at Linfield.
