Driving Directions to Linfield College

Linfield College is located in the mid-Willamette Valley on Highway 99W in McMinnville, Oregon.

The Office of Admission, in the Michelbook House, is at 450 SW Linfield Avenue, McMinnville, Oregon 97128.

Directions to Linfield:

From Interstate 84/East

Take I-84 west (toward Portland) and continue on I-5 south (Beaverton/Salem) for 12 miles. From here, follow the “From Portland/North” directions below, taking Exit 289.

From Portland International Airport

Take I-205 south (toward Salem/Portland/I-84) for three miles to Exit 21B (I-84 W/US-30 W) toward Portland for five miles. Continue on I-5 South (Beaverton/Salem) for 12 miles. From here, follow the “From Portland/North” directions below taking Exit 289.

From Portland/North

Take I-5 south to Exit 289 (Tualatin/Sherwood). Turn right onto Nyberg Road, which becomes Tualatin-Sherwood Road. Proceed through Tualatin until you reach Sherwood (about 5 miles). In Sherwood, turn left onto Highway 99W (an Albertson’s shopping center will be on your left). Continue on Highway 99W for about 15 miles through the communities of Newberg and Dundee. Turn left at OR-18 (Dayton Bypass) and continue for 6 miles, past the Evergreen Air and Space Museum, and take the exit toward downtown McMinnville. Proceed onto 3rd Street and turn left on Adams Street. Linfield will be on your left in less than a mile. Turn left on Fellows Street and take an immediate right onto Blaine Street. The Office of Admission is at the end of the street on Linfield Avenue.

From Salem/South

Take I-5 north to Exit 253 (OR-22/99E Bus - Detroit Lake/Bend). Turn left at the light (Mission St SE/OR-22/99E Bus) and follow signs for City Center through downtown Salem onto the Marion Street Bridge and through west Salem. Continue on OR-22 for about 10 miles and take Exit 16 (Monmouth/McMinnville). Turn left (north) and continue approximately 20 miles through Amity. In McMinnville, proceed to the traffic light at Linfield Avenue and turn right. The Office of Admission will be approximately two blocks on your right.

Parking

You are welcome to park in any parking lot or street on campus, including a small lot reserved for visitors on the west side of the Michelbook House. Visitor parking passes are not required at Linfield College.
