Pioneer Hall
Built in 1882, Pioneer Hall today is on the National Register of Historic Places. The oldest building at Linfield, Pioneer Hall was dedicated June 12, 1883, and once housed the entire college. In 1946 the building was remodeled to contain a dining hall and kitchen on the first floor. With the completion of Melrose in 1929, the building was named Pioneer Hall, to honor the Pioneers of the College. More than 40 women call the top two floors home with doubles, triples and quads. The rooms are some of the largest on campus. Attractive rooms with high ceilings and tall windows are the payoffs for climbing two or three flights of stairs. Each room of Pioneer is connected to the campus computer network, including internet, e-mail, and voice mail.
