Walker Hall

Walker Hall was named after Charles and Cherie Walker, who served for 17 years as Linfield president and first lady until retirement in 1992. Built in the mid-1950's as a addition to Riley Gymnasium, it contained locker rooms, a second gymnasium, weight room, and storage facilities. It was separated from Riley and completely remodeled in 1992.

Walker Hall is the home to the Departments of Sociology and Anthropogy and Modern Languages. Unique features of the building include four language classrooms, Spanish, German, French, and Japanese, each with culturally appropriate interior decorating to enhance the learning enviroment.
