Jane Failing Hall

image of location

Built in 1935, Jane Failing Hall housed women and was home to the newly established Homemaking Department. It was named for Jane C. Failing, the second woman to serve as a member of the Linfield Board of Trustees (1920-1926). Today, it is a coeducational residence hall housing 87 students in single, double and triple rooms. Each room on the first and second floor has a sink, and third floor rooms have window seats. Rooms on the lower level house men and are spacious and unique. Each room in Jane Failing is connected to the campus computer network, including internet, e-mail, and voice mail.
