Potter Hall
Potter Hall was originally built as the home of George W. Evans, a former mayor of McMinnville. The college purchased it in 1918 to use as the President's House. It was named for Mrs. Carrie C. "Mother" Potter, Dean of the Conservatory of Music from 1904 to 1921. It was enlarged in 1961, becoming a residence hall and home of the former Consumer and Family Studies Department. Today it contains the Education Department, a pre-kindergarten lab school, classrooms and residence hall rooms for 30 students. This substance-free community focuses on positive choices regarding well-being of the body, mind and spirit.
