Chris Beresford Class of 2016 "The community that I am involved with, my friends, my classes, and my athletics are all making Linfield College a valuable experience for me. I always have something to do whether it is studying, practicing sports, working, or hanging out with friends which all keep me from boredom and give me a fun-filled day every day." |

Holli Brouillette Class of 2015 I like the idea of my professors knowing my name and who I am. During class students can ask questions and interact with the professor and classmates. I enjoy the small college atmosphere because it makes me feel like I belong and am welcome in this lovely community. |
Austin Browning Class of 2016 A small college with huge impacts! |
Keevin Craig Class of 2013 Linfield students are driven individuals that are geared with the resources to get something special out of their college experience. |
Blanca Esquivel Class of 2014 I’ve never taken liking so quickly to a situation or place as I did here at Linfield. |
Ruta Gebremariam Class of 2016 My advice to future students would be to come with a great mind set, attitude, and to be ready to have fun and experience moments that you will never forget. |
Shawna Jacobson-Sims Class of 2016 There are tons of different people. Even though it is my first year, I’ve meet, and got to know, some amazing people. There are people here who have so much more to them than just the way they look, or even their first impression. For most people there is a deeper layer for other to discover. |
Christian Juanillo Class of 2013 Linfield students are welcoming and willing to help in any way they can. I have made close friends and have met caring individuals who have been willing to go out of their way to help me transition into college life. |
Erin Lasher Class of 2014 One of the reasons I chose Linfield was the warm, inviting atmosphere. I recently came back from my study abroad semester in Oslo, Norway and I felt the same welcoming feeling as I did the first day of freshmen year. Linfield is more than a beautiful campus, great professors, and the large number of activities students can be involved in. Linfield is about the driven and diverse individuals that I am lucky enough to call my peers. |

Nicole Paulachak Class of 2014 I’ve met so many people from so many different backgrounds, and learned so much, not just in the classroom, but about life in general. I’ve been granted great opportunities and have done tons of things that I would have never imagined doing before coming to college here.

Michael Pellatz Class of 2014 The people have met here, both professors and students, have made Linfield a valuable experience for me. I have met people that I know I will be very good friends with for a very long time and I can guarantee I will keep in contact with multiple professors I have had for a long time as well.

Isabella Porporato Class of 2015 As a current student, my best advice for having a good transition to college is to not be scared to try new things and put yourself out there. Being away from home, I have found that I enjoy being part of different clubs and groups here on campus. I have made a lot of great friends this way, and it helps me feel more connected to the school and like I belong. So find your niche, or what you like, and continue to stick with it here at college. You don’t have to give something up that you loved in high school; you just need to find out how you can continue it here. |

Kyra Rickards Class of 2014 I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the level of involvement within the McMinnville community by Linfield students. Before coming to Linfield, I thought they operated as a sort of bubble, and happened to be located in McMinnville, rather than being actively involved. But, as I’ve seen so far since coming here, Linfield student and the McMinnville community integrate well. The community supports so many of our events and students work hard to give back to the community through service days and projects. |
Chris Rogers Class of 2013 The amount of involvement with multiple organizations has really made Linfield a life changing experience. I have had opportunities to show my leadership skills and benefit my fellow students as well as myself. |
Kevin Romero Class of 2015 After Linfield I plan to do one of two things, either head to medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon, or graduate school to get my Ph.D. in either Chemistry or Biochemistry. The Linfield liberal arts education is going to set me up to have a number of options after I graduate. |

Aaron Stiles Class of 2016 The difference from living at a residence hall versus living at home is a sense of immense independence and others that relate/understand your busy schedule and are willing to compromise 50/50. There is much more success through communication in the dorms than at home as far as keeping things clean or quiet times and other such responsibilities. |
Whitney Weber Class of 2014 Linfield is a small liberal arts college located in the heart of Oregon focused on the present and future success of their students; everyone from the admission counselors to the professors strive to make each and every student feel welcome, confident, and supported during their college experience. |
