Best Linfield Memory: I had a lot of great experiences at Linfield, but the strongest memories are my earliest ones – specifically, Orientation and moving in to my first residence hall (Jane Failing – garden level). It was such an exciting time and it all comes rushing back to me when I see all our new students arriving on campus. I also loved the holidays on campus. During my sophomore year, my roommate and I stayed up all night decorating our hall for the Halloween contest – and we won!

Favorite TV channel: AMC. The obsession started with Mad Men and has now expanded to include Breaking Bad, The Killing and The Walking Dead. Very eclectic television, but always entertaining.

Linfield spot where you will likely find me: If I’m not in the Michelbook House (Office of Admission), I will probably be hanging out in our *new* on-campus Starbucks, indulging my love for coffee.

Best concert: Bruce Springsteen, no question about it. My husband and I saw him in 2012 and it was the most amazing show I have ever seen (& I’ve seen quite a few.) He was performing with the E Street Band and it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He brought people on stage, crowd surfed, took requests for three and a half hours ... and I couldn’t believe that he is my dad’s age!

When I’m not reading applications... I enjoy reading actual books. Two recently read books I’d highly recommend are Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and Wild by Cheryl Strayed. I couldn’t put either down once I had started.
