Favorite Mac Hang: Third Street is a great hangout spot. There is an amazing variety of restaurants from a local brew pub to authentic French, Spanish, Japanese, Thai and Italian cuisine. There are two popular local coffee shops, an ice cream parlor, bakery and a range of shops and stores. There's lots to see and do on Third Street!

Favorite Linfield Hang: Maxwell Field - watching Linfield Football!

Favorite Food in Dillin: The quesadillas are good.

Best Linfield Memory: My best Linfield memory would have to be from my senior year. While majoring in Studio Art, I approached my professor with the idea of teaching my own course at Linfield during the optional January Term through an opportunity called peer instruction. He supported my idea of creating an art class focusing on Human Anatomy. I contacted a good friend, and fellow art major, Chris Miles, to see if he wanted to help me with this endeavor. After getting the class approved, there were a handful of students registered for the course and Chris and I had the responsibility of teaching and grading our fellow students. The experience was incredible! We spent two weeks in the Cadaver Lab at Linfield studying and drawing the inner structure of the human body and then we spent two weeks drawing from live models. At the end of the Term, we showcased our work in the student gallery on campus.

Favorite Spot Within an Hour of Mac: I'd have to say Pacific City is one of my favorite spots within an hour of town. I enjoy being close to the ocean. I grew up always being at the beach and so to have the coastline only an hour away is pretty good! My friends and I surf there all the time and sometimes we'll simply just hangout on the beach and around a warm fire.

Favorite Vacation: Going back to Hawaii every summer to see my family, enjoy the warm weather, eat the good local food and surf everyday!
