Welcome to Linfield - Spring 2010!

As a new student at Linfield College, we are excited to welcome you to campus for the spring 2010 semester.  Starting at a new college is rewarding (and maybe a bit confusing).  We are committed to providing resources and assistance that will help you transition into the Linfield College experience.

On Sunday, February 7 you are invited to a Welcome and Orientation program followed by the first meeting of Spring Connections, our unique program to assist you with learning about the Linfield College community during the first few weeks of the semester.  This program, led by a faculty member and peer advisor, is designed to offer opportunities for you to familiarize yourself with campus, meet people, and learn about Linfield College and the McMinnville Community.

As you explore the information associated with starting in the spring semester, you will want to make sure to work closely with our Office of Academic Advising regarding your Spring Course Registration process.

Important Dates:

• Thursday, February 4 - Early Arrival Day (International Students ONLY - Please see below)
• Sunday, February 7 - Arrival Day
• Sunday, February 7 - First Spring Connections Meeting, 3pm
  
• Monday, February 8 - First day of classes

International Student Information

A special welcome to our new international students arriving for Spring 2010!  Because of additional orientation expectations please make your travel arrangements to arrive in McMinnville on Thursday, February 4th.  After you have made your travel arrangements please contact the Office of International Programs to provide Linfield with your arrival plans.  You will then receive more information about arrival details and residence hall move in policies.
