How Do I Set Up My Catnet ID (Linfield email) and WebAdvisor Account?

All Linfield students need a Linfield email account to register for classes, clear your student financial account and access important information throughout the summer.
In order to set up WebAdvisor, you must first create a CatNet account (which will also be your email account).
Setting up your CatNet Account
- Go to the CatNet Account Request form. Your Linfield Student ID number or Social Security number is required to process your request.
- Submit the form and remember your password.
- The response will provide your CatNet ID. Your CatNet account (and email address) will generally be your first initial and up to 6 letters of your last name followed by "@linfield.edu".
- You will use your CatNet ID as your email address and login for your WebAdvisor account.
What is WebAdvisor?
Linfield gives you electronic access to your student account through an online database called WebAdvisor. Some of the things you can do on WebAdvisor include:
- Reserve & register for classes
- Clear your student financial account
- View unofficial transcripts
- Search the Linfield directory
- Renew financial aid
Logging into WebAdvisor
- Go to the Webadvisor log in page.
- Click the "log in" tab at the top right of the screen
- Use your CatNet ID (your Linfield email address minus the "@linfield.edu" and password
- Click the blue "Students" link on the right
You'll have to wait at least 24 hours after creating your CatNet ID to log into WebAdvisor.
