How do I accept my financial aid?
- Look through the Guide to Financial Aid packet. You should see a letter outlining your financial aid awards. You may "accept" or "decline" each award on the letter and return it to the Office of Financial Aid.
- Complete the Verification Worksheet included in your Guide to Financial Aid packet and return it to the Office of Financial aid. Don't forget to include copies of your (and your parent/guardians') tax returns and W-2s.
What if I don't have a financial aid award?
Sometimes the Office of Financial Aid needs information from students. If you did not submit FAFSA (and wish to be considered for need-based aid), copies of tax returns or W-2 forms, the Office of Financial Aid will let you know what you need to send.
How do I apply for academic scholarship?
All students who are admitted to Linfield College will be considered for academic scholarships. For detailed information regarding academic scholarships and other types of financial aid, log onto www.linfield.edu/dinero.
How do I apply for need-based aid?
For need-based aid consideration, submit a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 1. Submit your FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Linfield’s FAFSA school code is 003198.
