Equipment Description

  • Stage Lighting is stationary lighting that can be of different colors and works best for lighting up performers and or a stage.
  • Dance Lighting is lights that move, change colors, and flash. They work well for dances, karaoke, and parties.

Pricing Information

Linfield College Non ASLC Affiliated Organizations:

  • $25 plus the cost of Work Study - Light and Sound equipment, and techs to set up, run the show and strike the event
  • $30 - Additional charge for off campus events
  • $20 - Fee for turning in a request form less than 7 days prior to event

All charges must be paid in full prior to the event

ASLC Clubs and Organizations:

  • $30 - Additional charge for off campus events
  • $20 - Fee for turning in a request form less than 7 days prior to event

Terms and Conditions for renting AV equipment

The AV team will review all sound requests and appropriate equipment will be provided to the best of our ability. There are many nights when we will have multiple requests and a limited amount of equipment, so we will do our best to provide everything that is needed for all, but we make no promises. If we are not able to fulfill the entirety of your request, we will be in touch to let you know what we can provide.

All events WILL BE RUN by the AV techs unlesss other arrangements are made with the AV team in advance. The Director of College Activities must approve these arrangements.

If the event is late in starting, the AV tech will wait 25 minutes before packing up the equipment and leaving.

There will be absolutely NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS at any event that the AV equipment is being used. If there is any alcohol or drugs at the event, the organization sponsoring the activity will be charged a $50 fine and they will not be able to use the AV equipment for the remainder of the academic year.

During the event, it is the responsibility of the sponsoring organization to make sure that the equipment is not stolen or damaged. Any damages or loss of equipment will be charged to the sponsoring organization.
