Accreditation

Linfield College is regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Specialized accreditation is granted tocertain of the college’s individual programs. The Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing is accredited by the Oregon State Board of Nursingand the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The education program is approved for training of elementary and secondary teachers bythe State of Oregon’s Teachers Standards and Practices Commission. Linfield College’s music program is accredited by the National Associationof Schools of Music, and its athletic training program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education. The col-lege maintains affiliation with the American Baptist Churches, U.S.A.

Linfield College reserves the right to withdraw courses at any time, change fees, change the calendar and rules regarding admission andgraduation requirements, and change any other regulations affecting the student body. Changes shall become effective whenever the proper au-thorities so determine and shall, at the discretion of such authorities, apply not only to prospective students but also to those who at that timeare matriculated in the college.
