Academic Affairs Weekly

Commencement

Issue 1 - August 13, 2013

Dear Colleagues,

We're excited to present our inaugural issue of Academic Affairs Weekly.

Each Tuesday, Academic Affairs will send out a weekly information email that will provide a one-stop shop for the emails that we usually send throughout the week: events, news and deadlines. These will also be archived on the Academic Affairs website for your reference. Our hope is that important information will not get buried (I for one have 16,000+ emails!). We'll include links to necessary forms and documents, and periodically we'll include updates from others in Academic Affairs. This is a work in progress, so if there are ways we can improve, please let us know.

This week, you'll find the annual back-to-school items: information about Opening Convocation, the Faculty Retreat, and syllabi language (please note that there is an update on LSS due to specificity of the laws in this area).

Here's to a productive year ahead,
Susan
