Bonnie Anderson. I graduated in the class of 83'. I was a business major. I was a member of Lambda Lambda Sigma. Homecoming had a noise parade, which I don't think you guys do anymore. Ummm, all the organizations on campus would put together floats on big flat bed trucks that farmers would bring into town and we'd decorate em' and the band from Linfield would march down from onto 99 and down to 3rd street but since the hospital was right where Walgreen's is, we had to be very quiet for a period of time and then we would go past that and the whole idea was to scream and make as much noise as possible.Horns, cowbells, whooping and hollering, drums, anything you could do to make noise. And that was the Friday night before the game. And then we circled around down 3rd street and back to campus. And I had a big bonfire in the empty lot which is now the parking lot next to Miller. There were lots of things going on every night of homecoming week so that was kind of the big late night, this was at Friday night event. Uh there was a singing contest which was as I recall quite pitiful, um but laughable, it was fun. Raising money so to make someone kiss a pig at halftime at the game and I'm trying to even remember who won some of those but cute little pigs...hahahahahaha
