403b Retirement Plan

Ford Theatre
All regular, full-time and part-time (.50 FTE) employees, with the exception of adjunct faculty and employees who work fewer than 20 hours per week, may voluntarily begin contributing to the college-sponsored 403b retirement plan any time following their first day of employment.
Eligibility for the college’s contributions begins after the employee has completed one year of employment and the attainment of age 21. Or, contributions may begin immediately if an employee participated in a qualified 403b plan within the last six month with another employer; proof of enrollment is required at time of hire.
Linfield will contribute monthly for faculty members 16% equal to your monthly wages to the retirement plan and for staff members 11.25% equal to your monthly wages to the retirement plan. Employees are immediately 100% vested in the plan.
Employees have their choice of participating in any of the following four plans:
Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company – VALIC
Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association and College Retirement Equities Fund – TIAA-CREF
Standard Insurance Company
Ministers and Missionaries of the American Baptist Churches – ordained Baptist ministers only
